Hi, I am Diane, and I have a ‘passion for gardening’……..

Ever since I was a child I have always been exposed to gardening of some sort. I remember my mum, talking about my grandad, and how he used to grow prize winning chrysanthemums, and she had a few sepia photographs of him holding and displaying them.  During my childhood spent in a typical suburban garden we had a greenhouse where we germinated seedlings for the hanging baskets (no abundance of supermarkets and large garden centres in the 70’s selling affordable packs of bedding plants). My dad was also a gardener and always proud of his lawn and borders.
